Day 01: Sigiriya - Dambulla
This day, you will be joyously welcomed by the tour representative at the airport and then will be transferred to Sigiriya or Dambulla. Sigiriya is a famous and amusing world heritage site which was constructed by King Kashyapa between 477- 495 AD. The ancient 'Lion Rock' is a citadel of bizarre, uncommon and awe-inspiring charm ascending around 200 m from the mop forest. This stunning rock was the core support of the 70 hectare fortified town. The site becomes more exclusive and impressive with a moat, rampart, and wide lush green gardens including the acclaimed water gardens, encircling the base of the rock. In the afternoon, you will be taken to explore the gorgeous and magnificent Sigiriya rock fortress. You will also witness the world-famous spectacular frescoes of the 'Heavenly Maidens' of Sigiriya. They are in a rock's capped pocket and are approachable by a coiled stairway. These dazzling frescoes are alluringly painted in earth pigments on plaster. Overnight stay will be either in Sigiriya or Dambulla.

Day 02: Dambulla - Matale- Kandy
In the morning, post delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will be driving towards Kandy passing through Dambulla and Matale. En route, you will stop to explore Dambulla. Here, you will visit immensely famous Dambulla rock temple which was constructed by the King Walagamba in the 1st century B.C and today is a proud World Heritage Site. It is amongst the most imposing and lavish cave temples of the country. The temples' complex comprises of five amusing and grandiose caves with more than 2000 sq. m of beautifully painted walls and ceilings making itself the largest area of paintings worldwide. The temple houses more than 150 divine images of the Buddha, out of which the biggest is the gigantic structure of the Buddha carved out of rock. Later, on reaching Kandy you will be accommodated at a hotel for a night's stay.

Day 03: Kandy
After enjoying luscious breakfast, you will visit the renowned Royal Botanical gardens in Peradeniya which is a must-visit picturesque site. The 147 acres garden was previously constructed by a Sinhala king for his personal pleasure and later was enlarged and embellished by the British. The garden is engulfed in an eternal charisma of varied types of trees, plants and flowers. In the afternoon, you will be taken on sightseeing trip of Kandy, which was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and today stands as a fantabulous World Heritage Site. Kandy is synonymous to stupendous and magnificent visions, having numerous legends, colorful traditions and impressive folklore still flourishing joyfully. You will be driving around the marvelous Kandy Lake instituted by the last Sinhala king, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798. Afterwards, you will also explore more of the Kandy town and its local markets, the bewitching arts and crafts centre, an enticing gem museum and a lapidary. Later, you will be visiting the divine Tooth Relic temple. Late in the day, you will be soothed and delighted by a wondrous cultural show. Overnight stay will be in Kandy.

Day 04: Kandy - Pinnawela - Colombo
After yummy breakfast at the hotel, you will be journeying towards Colombo via Pinnawela. Post arriving Pinnawela, you will visit The Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage which is an adorable shelter for orphan elephants, founded in 1975. The orphanage started with only seven elephants but eventually with the help of elephant experts from around the world began a scientific captive-breeding programme which over the years gave it an international recognition. Later in the day, you will continue traveling to reach Colombo, the largest city of Sri Lanka. It is fast, developing, modern and beautiful. With numerous towering buildings, its historical captivating charm can still be felt in the aura. There are also a number of impressive British constructed colonial buildings. Other famous tourist attractions here are a magnificent Hindu and a Buddhist temple, the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH). On reaching, you will visit House of Fashions, ODEL, Noritake ceramic shop & other local shops for souvenir purchases. Overnight will be at the hotel in Colombo.

Day 05: Colombo - Departure
In the morning of this last day, post finger-licking breakfast, you can capture some last minute memorable moments in your camera as you will be driven to the airport. Upon reaching at the airport, you will be connected to the flight for you home or onward destination.
