Destination: Colombo - Balapitiya - Colombo
Duration: 3 Nights/ 4 Days
Day 01: Colombo - Wadduwa / Beruwela / Bentota / Ahungalla
Upon arrival at Colombo airport, you will be greeted by our courteous and warm tour representative. From the airport you will proceed either to Wadduwa or to Beruwela or could be driven to Bentota or Ahungalla. Your accommodation would be at a good hotel with the best of facilities. You will be provided with a scrumptious lunch, after which the rest of the day will be at leisure. Overnight stay will be in the hotel only.
Day 02: Balapitiya
Next morning, after enjoying a lip smacking breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to Balapitiya for a river safari. From Balapitiya, you will be taken on a boat ride of the Madu River for about two hours. Here you will get the golden opportunity to see the villagers taking part in their day-to-day activities. You will also get the opportunity to see some enchanting local islands. You will get back to the hotel in Wadduwa / Beruwela / Bentota / Ahungalla for the overnight stay.
Day 03: Colombo
Next morning, after enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will proceed to Colombo, the largest city of Sri Lanka. You will be escorted to a good hotel. Colombo, like many other significant cities in developing countries, is fast changing its face. This historical and old city now boasts of several skyscrapers that have arisen from where old buildings once stood. Colombo still holds its old world charm with several British built colonial buildings. Other places of tourist interest are a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, residential areas where you find the stately homes of the affluent, the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH). You will also visit the famous House of Fashions, ODEL, Noritake ceramic shop & a local souvenir shop. After the lunch, you will get leisure time to spend. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in the Colombo city.
Day 04: Departure
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport by our representative who would help you with the boarding formalities, as you take the flight for your onward destination.
